Alarm Inputs

Post by jameswilson »

Id like to look into getting alarms into and out of zm. Im wondering what everyone uses. Id ideally like an IP solution or a hardwired pci card type input. Id like to be able to use these as triggers for zm and for other things (ie dead monitors) to alarm of movement in set areas via zm4ms or the new linux version when remoted. So basically how you all doing alarms without X10. Or does anyone know of anything close that ican look at and talkto in the linux and windows app. Once i get soemthing working in zm4ms it wont be too hard to add to zm nativly

I had posted a ethernet device that was capable of input and output closures (contact based) and had an onboard serial port. I'll have a search and see if I can find the post for you. It would be one option.
