eyezm iphone ap using secure https

I have zoneminder server / routers configured and working allowing https connections via web browser.
I am using an unsigned certificate for https.
Eyezm on Iphone complains with "Connection Failed The certifficate is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be <my_ip_addr> which could put your confidential infromation at risk."

How is the security exception configured in iphone?
