Foscam and ONVIF?

Post by bbunge »

I recently obtained a Foscam FI9821W V2 PT Camera. It seems to have a lot of features and I have been able to get it working with Zoneminder.

I noticed that after a firmware update the camera has a port setting for ONVIF (see http://www.onvif.org/).

I was able to download and install a Windows client for ONVIF capable equipment from: http://sourceforge.net/projects/onvifdm/ and have had limited success getting it to communicate with the FI9821W V2.

Is there anyone working on an ONVIF interface for Zoneminder?

I have discovered a tool which can probe ONVIF cameras for settings.

Link to ZM Utilities: http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.ph ... _Utilities

Link to ONVIF Device Manager: http://sourceforge.net/projects/onvifdm/

I used this tool to get a B-QTech BQ-N05W H.264 outdoor WIFI camera to work with ZM.
