Hello, I ordered this camera off of ebay and was able to get it to work on zoneminder, the camera I received was unbranded

Note that there's been some question whether Dahua/Alhua cameras are phoning home to China; it's always a good idea not to give your cameras a valid default gateway IP, unless your network topology requires it -- most don't.

i also have an Dahua Camera. Unfortunatly it is the only one i am not able to work whith zoneminder.

Could you share how you managed it ?

i used the snapshot link which is also working via browser acces: http://user:pwd@XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi

Logfile says:
Failed authentication (zmc)
Unable to read header (zmc)
Unable to get response, disconnecting (zmc)

Peter I just saw this, I'll take a look and respond, I'm sure you either figured it out or moved on by now but I'll put some more configuration info on here in case it can help.

My computer with all the settings is in my garage not hooked up. I'm finishing up a major home renovation, when I get it hooked back up I was post that I have.
