Re: ZoneMinder Client Mobile Application for Android
Pretty nice :) Everything works except that when I pinch to zoom into a video feed I get "socket closed" and the yellow ZM triangle. EDIT: zms is crashing when I zoom. 2013-03-02 12:42:30.159613 zms 21940 ERR Attempt to directly assign buffer from an undersized buffer of size: 372768 zm_im...

Re: ZoneMinder Client Mobile Application for Android
Apparently I should not be doing any IT stuff on Saturday mornings. My brain is still asleep! How could I miss your instructions regarding the skin download? Sorry about that. EDIT: You should check out the way IP Cam Viewer lets you test the setup while you are configuring it. I find it very practi...

Re: Kodicom 4400R+analog cams = horrible image & buggy seque
I have uploaded a sample event to https://mega.co.nz/#!w5E1lAjR!TJPLqG_ch17xOy9F6PDPn3xOLhBQ5k99m7U4-LJlvF8 The event starts at 09:02:15 but frames 1 to 6 are really from 09:02:19. This happens in all my events, the first six frames are a copy of frames 51 to 56. Another question, where are my 50 po...

Re: Kodicom 4400R+analog cams = horrible image & buggy seque
I was about to give up on zm until I tried this: http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=20587 Wow! What a change! Now I get perfect deinterlaced image. There are still some bugs to be fixed, mainly the fact that the frames are out of order and sometimes duplicated. This happens wit...

Re: Zoneminder branch various patches + fix and plugins
Hi Nextime, Loving your work here. I have tried and tried and only just finally have I found out why the code wasn't compiling on Ubuntu. Your checks inside configure.ac aren't quite right. Here is a diff to show you what I've changed based on the libav9-ftbfs patch that is going to be part of the ...

Re: Noisy, interlaced frames after adding two more PAL camer
Hi zseries,
Got your PM. Deinterlacing is implemented in this version http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewto ... =9&t=17652.
I am going to try it out before ditching ZM altogether.

I had mmap issues to on Fedora 18 so I recompiled the code with shared memory instead of mmap and that worked fine.

Re: Kodicom 4400R capture issues - please help
Now here's an event which shows buggy zm recording frames in the incorrect order.
https://mega.co.nz/#!5o00VCrZ!YxlOn0JQc ... hTfjdR3SA
I have removed the analyse frames to reduce the download size.
It's really really hard to use zoneminder like this.

Re: Changing brightness / contrast at specific time of day
Thanks for the help. I'll try your suggestion. Btw, I got the two Kodicom 4400R cards yesterday and now I have reasonable FPS in all the cameras. Took a while to figure out which device + input to use. I ended up with this setup: /dev/video0 (0) /dev/video1 (1) /dev/video2 (2) /dev/video3 (3) /dev/v...
