Where should those be located?

7 cameras, all hardwired with POE switches

10fps set on the cameras.
They range from 1080 or higher

Looking at zoneminder I am currently 1.7MB/s

This is showing on zoneminder, but not showing if I log into the camera.

Any particular settings I should look at?

I have a small NUC system, I could use.
But it won't have the storage on it.

Will I just bog down my network with the camera feeds, then the transfer of recordings to my second machine with HD space?

I have zoneminder working perfect, also have ZMNinja on my cell phone.

It seems I can generate notifications of motion direct on my cameras, or in zoneminder? or in ZMNinja?

What is the general best way to do this? What is the most common. I have 8 cameras in my system.

This might be a silly question...

I looking to reduce the power consumption of my PC running zoneminder.

I am assuming I can't have it in sleep mode? It won't record then?

Any thoughts or suggestions on what I am trying to do?

I checked, the cameras are in Mocord. In the past I have seen No Data for brief seconds in the timeline. But now the entire timelime is No Data. But the events exist, I can find and watch them. Just not in the montage. Also when I watch an event, the red bar that should be movement in the video is o...

Not sure what this is. I have events, I can see and watch them in event viewer.

When in montage review, all the monitors show "NO DATA"

I am using ZMninja and a Firefox on Android phone.

None will play event

I am using H264 or H265 passthrough with jpg turned off and sound recorded.

When I try to watch an event I get sound and no video.
When I download the event and play in VLC it is fine.

What settings do I need to change?

Linux Mint 19.3
Zoneminder 1.35.4

Any clue where I look at the network settings?

I have various routers/switch between the PC and the cameras, I wonder if that is the issue?

I have 4 cameras working that I setup with ONVIF Probe with no issues.

I just added 3 more cameras.
The probe window opens blank in the browser and nothing happens.

Since installing the first cameras zoneminder has updated a few times.

Not sure how to describe it. The camera is glitchy with white static on some events. And it keeps making it trigger events.

I can't load the video in zoneminder - says format is not supported.

My other 4 Dahua cameras work fine with zoneminder?

Any suggestions on where I should start?
