Little request: would it be possible / interesing to add a feature where eyezm detects whether you're on wifi or edge/3g to automatically adjust the x264 bitrate streaming? Lower on 3g - higher on wifi. Just wait until we get v2.0 out, the UI will be improved greatly :) And that's a great request! ...

Re: installing ZM 1.24.x and a fork on same machine ?
The reason for trying to something this dirty is to see if I can do a near seamless version migration, and also because I don't have another machine at the moment. If your reason is just to migrate versions, there are easier ways to do it. I constantly migrate between 1.24.1, .2 and .3. I keep all ...

I think the zmtrigger script can provide an interface to this, but you may want to play around with it. Basically you would just put the monitor in 'Monitor' mode, no modect, and then take your HTTP request and trigger the cam manually. If you can get it to work, it would be a nice addition if we in...

I'm not sure what your question specifically is, but in general, you can get by with any mixture of cameras and systems you have available, so maybe start with what equipment you have and what your budget is. Since you are doing multi-room deployment, I would also consider how much time you want to ...

Re: Alarm State of Specific Monitor
Hello, I am doing some development in ZoneMinder and I have come across a problem. I need to determine if a monitor is in the alarmed state or not. This works by getting the status for single frame monitors, but when dealing with mpeg it does not. I tried to use the stream call, but I do not see a ...
