Re: Unable to create users
first try to use in a terminal zmupdate.pl -f and you could try to drop the zm database and reload it as a fresh start if you do not have many cameras already configured......try the zmupdate.pl -f though for sure.

Re: How to disable PTZ motion detection durning camera movement
there could be a round about way to do it by using "run states" and set up 2 different monitors using the same camera.... monitor 1 has no PTZ control and does have motion detection active monitor 2 has PTZ but motion detection turned off. save a run state that has camera 1 set to "mo...

Re: ZM droppes Camera
that looks okay as far as RAM...I have run into what you describe also before...I will look into my notes to see if I have a tip.
I feel like this is a permissions problem...... first thing to test please lower the camera resolution to something like 640x480 to see how the 2 cams run at this point

did you change the port in the zmNinja settings to reflect the change from port 80 you have made for ZM?

Re: Make ZoneMinder accessible at "zm.mydomain.com"?
I use the Hiawatha web server instead of Apache and a Puppy Linux from Ubuntu binaries which ZM sets up just as it does in Ubuntu.
I do not use the zoneminder.conf at all per say. Well translated into the config for Hiawatha which works really nicely with ZM.

I am seeing this happen on some setups also. Just suddenly the web console is logged out. A routine login restores everything.

Re: Make ZoneMinder accessible at "zm.mydomain.com"?
with multiport the url rewrite needs to take into account the port. The apache setup seems easier to alter the alias than use url rewrites
I will test it out and see how it runs on these versions of ZM...a single rewrite would be the easiest I think
