Perhaps you could look into purchasing a regulated DC power supply and providing your own PoE to your devices? I believe PoE utilises the spare cables in the cat5e arrangement to provide power to the device. This way, you could remove the transformer/rectifier that comes with the router (black power...

hi kdf... nice find! Exactly what I've been looking for.

Can you help a noob out though and show us all how you could integrate this function into zoneminder to replace the ffmpeg/mpeg_encode function?

Thanks heaps:)

nope because I got it working :D:D For some reason, when the script is set to multipart/alternative ... the images will refuse to load. On multipart/mixed it works (and adds the plain text part as an attachment... which I can live with). Anyway, the end result is (I believe this is a direct copy fro...

Argh! I still can't manage to get it to work. I'm quite sure all the settings in the zoneminder web config are correct, however I realised that even if I make it work, I require a username/pass to access the http:// connection of zoneminder, so wouldn't it block my email client from viewing the pict...

Create video for each event - placed in a common folder

Hi Guys, Firstly... if anyone out there with the know how wants to improve what I've done, be my guest! I've spent a few weeks teaching myself how to use ubuntu just so I can get this great zoneminder program up and running (and I'm extremely impressed with it!). Ok, what I've done: Zoneminder will ...

I have a few dramas with the script, basically I can't get the inline image to show up, it just shows a 'broken image' box above the zoneminder text. As a temporary workaround, I modified the script a little bit (you can laugh, I've never written a program before so I had no idea what I was doing) a...
