The filter is defined like so, https://i.imgur.com/9HF30Gk.png The script is defined as $cat /usr/share/zoneminder/www/tools/movevideo.sh #!/bin/bash LOG=/var/log/zm/movevideo.log EXT=mp4 CA...

Re: Cant get Zoneminder to use CUDA
https://wiki.zoneminder.com/GPU_passthrough_in_VMWare page seems to suggest that 20.04 ships with CUDA enabled ffmpeg.
@iconnor Does your ZM package in 20.04 support CUDA?

Were you able to figure this out?
These seem to be a remake of Dahua camera's.

Re: Cant get Zoneminder to use CUDA
I would like to stick with the convenience of iconnor PPA rather than compiling my own zoneminder. Is there a PPA of Zoneminder and ffmpeg with cuda support?

Cant get Zoneminder to use CUDA
I am running Zoneminder v1.35.14 frm iconnor PPA. I have compiled ffmpeg with cuda support using options, ./configure --enable-nonfree --enable-cuda-nvcc --enable-libnpp --extra-cflags=-I/usr/local/cuda/include --extra-ldflags=-L/usr/local/cuda/lib64 --prefix=/opt/ffmpeg and can confirm cuda is work...

Zotac GTX 1050 Ti Mini (4GB)
Hello,
I have ZM server running a bunch of camera (H264) streams. I found this cheap Zotac card, which doesnt need any external power connector and thus is easy to add to my server.
Will ZM benefit from this CUDA card?
Thanks

GPU advantage
Hello,
Is there any advantage of using an Nvidia GPU with zoneminder? I want to reduce the CPU usage without reducing the resolution or frame rate.
Thanks

Re: WAN access, security?
Thanks for the tips. I have a NGINX reverse proxy in front of ZM. What do you mean by, "and add another layer of security there"?
I have setup a 'view' only user account which is on the mobile phones.
Are you suggesting to use geoip with nginx?

WAN access, security?
Hello,
I have been accessing ZM over a VPN until now on the phone (zmninja). However, putting VPN on family members mobiles is demanding. I was wondering how safe is to expose ZoneMinder on the internet. I will have letsencrypt certificates and will also use ZM authentication.
