error: zoneminder:5 unknown user 'http'
I'm running zm1.29 on a centos 6.7 server and every day I'm getting an email from the server that says: subject: Anacron job 'cron.daily' on centos.svr /etc/cron.daily/logrotate: error: zoneminder:5 unknown user 'http' error: found error in /var/log/zoneminder/*log , skipping is this a bug with zm1....

Re: timestamp is wrong
yes it's correct in php-ini
update: this problem was solved by restarting the centos 6 machine. Not an acceptable solution imo but at least the time is right again now.

SOLVED: timestamp is wrong
I'm running zm 1.28.1 on centos 6 and the timestamp on the videos is wrong. The time on the centos 6 machine itself is correct but restarting zoneminder doesn't correct it. How does one get the timestamp correct?

please it would be great if a future release of zoneminder could include rtmp stream as a camera source.

Re: use different network gateway
I don't have two routers but I do have a cisco router which has two gateways to the internet, the primary gateway goes out through a vpn tunnel and the second gateway is just normal ie outside the tunnel. The centos machine network settings are configured for the tunnel however I'd like to make zone...

use different network gateway
I'm running zm 1.28 on centos 6.6 server (command line only). Is it possible to get zm to use a different network gateway to the default one on the centos 6 machine?

event playback freezes just after start
I'm running a centos 6.5 64 bit machine with zoneminder-1.28.0-3.el6.x86_64. In the majority of events captured by zoneminder the video playback is freezing after 2 or 3 seconds. I have three cameras, Axis 211, axis 207 and axis 207W and most events on all three cams have this problem. All three cam...

zoneminder - no version can handle this problem...
I've discovered to my amusement there's one thing zoneminder will never conquer no matter how many new and improved versions come out, and that is spiders building cobwebs in front of the camera. My zm is struggling to keep up with all the goings on in front of two of my outdoor cameras. The good si...

zm 1.27 on centos 7?
is there a tutorial anywhere for installing zm 1.27 on centos 7? Searching google I can find nothing but centos 6 guides, which no longer work with 'MariaDB' and all the other new stuff on centos 7. There's also no rpmfusion repo yet for centos 7 and everything I've tried so far has run into dead en...

yum install zoneminder?
I remember once finding a page that showed how to install zm on Centos with yum (yum install zoneminder) but I can't find it now. For centos 7 is there such a thing as yum install zoneminder? Is there a repo out there that has it? update: I have installed zm several times on centos 6 machines using ...

exported video shows varying speed
I'm running zm 1.25 on a centos 6.5 64 bit server. sometimes when zm exports an event to avi video the speed is wobbly in the playback. Sections of the video playback speed up for a few seconds and then return to correct playback speed. It's not the player, t makes no difference which player I use t...

Re: change default video export location
I've assumed that this can't be done as well however I've made a little workaround that does the job I need, so if it helps anyone else here's how I did it. I'm impressed with a new program I'm trying lately called monit. It can watch log files for certain text strings and when it sees it it can tri...

change default video export location
I'm running contos 6.5 server 64 bit with zoneminder 1.25. I've created a filter that is automatically exporting certain events to avi video (hooray). However the videos are being saved in the same location as the event ie: buried deep inside /var/www/html/zm/etc/etc.... I'd like zoneminder to save ...
