I think it's best to go with the 8 channel 240/200 fps. Quite cheap on Ebay and almost working right out of the box (need to add a line in modprobe.conf) This is the card, with the yellow connector; http://www.jasonh.vispa.com/Card_Front.jpg I've been looking at upgrading my current system to somet...

As I understand it you only have to display a CCTV sign if the cameras are used on business premises - not if it's purely residential. I installed it for peace of mind - I can see what people are up to whilst I'm away. It's also handy when couriers try to deliver packages but don't leave a calling c...

It's improved my system's ability to monitor a camera on-screen at 352x288 whilst capturing events from up to three cameras with less chance that frames will be lost.

EDIT: Probably shouldn't post last thing at night...

Problem we will then have is finding a mobo/proc that will handle 4 capture cards and 3 sound cards!!! Some BT878 cards also enable the associated audio input - there may be an additional connector on board for it. My SV823A motherboard has 4 BT878s and 4 audio connectors. Not that I've ever tried ...

I've successfully built it on my Lex board which runs an M10000 Nehemiah. ZM has successfully come back up but I haven't had time to make any performance comparisons.

1.22.1 zmupdate.pl problem and zmpkg.pl bug

I always have a problem with zmupdate.pl so I tend to manually run everything. This time I decided to actually investigate... The problem that I've always had is during the 'mysql < scripts/dbm/zm_update-1.22.0.sql' step it always complains about 'mysql' not found. It turns out that this is because ...

Re: Aviosys IP Kamera 9060

i bought a few of these kits as i was so impressed with the camera and general function and the price having come right down to about 40 pounds for the kit form..!!. To be fair for the price they're not bad, but no way can they be considered low-light cameras (as it says on the various sellers' sit...

Juan,

Search these forums under my username - you'll find a patch that let you click on a montage image and open up the full camera view. It only works with Firefox though.

Hi I don´t know this camera runs with these paths: How you discover these paths (MJPEG/CGI and IMAGE/CGI) ??? I used an application called Ethereal to capture the traffic going between my PC and the camera when browsing it's web pages. Ethereal can reconstruct the HTML requests and from there the U...

What image URL are you using for the camera? I have a camera from the same stable that offers either /IMAGE.CGI or /MJPEG.CGI as the image URL. The latter gives me up to 20fps.
