DEbian Lenny + Gnome + Video
I noticed in the GUI Video prefs there is an option to grab video from TV cards and video devices… Is this useable ? Can I grab video from te 8 Port Bttv card and by by pass ZM so we can stream video straight to the monitor ? That would be useful on the ZM server so we could attach a monitor to vi...

email picture on alarm
hello I have an SVN version from about 4 weeks ago, I want to create a filter which works after say 12.30 at night until say 8.00 in the morning. The filter will check certain camera's where there should never be any movement and email a picture from an event instantly within the time frame of the f...

Re: Local display
Say I am running zoneminder on a dedicated machine already with no GUI. Is there some simple straightforward way to show on the display the camera image? Coming from a linux perspective I don't think so, you will have to install Gnome or what ever… That said I would like support for a local displ...

Interlacing is caused because a frame can be made up of two captured frames one making up the odd lines and one the even. They are captured at different times so any movement shows up. The new version 1.24.3 allows you to disable this behaviour in most cases. Oh How ? I suppose I expected smooth mo...

Interlacing lines on movement
Hi I am getting lines when there is movement but not when there is no movement..
I have searched the forums and looked and added two monitors set to "None:" as we have an 8 port bbtv card and six camera's.
It's not critical but would be nice to remove these lines …
Thanks.

Just a guess, but I noticed ZM did this when I did not have the camera's configured with the same frame rate setting. Compare your settings.... Oh I recompiled Zoneminder with the latest svn, and now it's OK, However still can't get colour pictures… I am using PALnc + Grey nothing else seems to w...
