Hi man.

maybe this is a good point to make something like MPEG recording of events... it should be nice to have this as this saves a lot of hard disk and mpeg events is a good way to incorporate audio, as libavcodec have many utilities to deal direct from v4l.

Hi,

You have just said you are using a sata disk.

Well, sata disks on linux actually sux.

try hdparm -tT /dev/sda and tell us how fast hdparm report.

I had similar problems with a damn sata that did only 20mb/s

Unfortunatelly the JPEG_QUALITY doesnt work in this version.

i have tried a lot, ive changed manually in mysql but NO SUCCESS.
