General the RF camers are going to be far worse than the ip as far as security as well as stability. It relly quite easy to get a stable wifi setup with ip cameras it a little research and understanding. First off you need to get a decent grade router/access point. A cisco AP or even a dd-wrt router...

Shared memory is another problem you should try solving that first. conf file for shared memory is under /etc/sysctl i belive search forum "shared memory" will come up.

Thats not gona work you relly need a dedecated server Ispconfig 3, Will not alow this to co exist nicely. ZM is a very Cpu intensive application and requires more system resorses that a hosting pannle will provide.

Why are you bothering with VPN or ssh it begin with. Zm has its own authentication method and can just be enabled on the INTERNET . Also for security you can enable ssl.

Hers what i would do. go to radio shack(if they still have them) buy a 5volt regulator. Then run a 12v power supply on the line. Also it is very likely there is a voltage regulator inside the device but we don't know what it limits are. Ether way less that $5 trip to radio shack. http://www.radiosha...

the safest thing to do is use a rely on the 24v line to swithc a 3v logic from the parallel port. Or if you don't have a parallel port you can buy a ardueno for 30$ and do the same via usb.
