Re: undefinded variable error in events.php while using Filt
Thanks for the help. The error occurred when there were more then 300 events Filter was executed manually ZM-Consol->Filters. A filter that deletes all events was selected and executed. The filter ran, opened a window with the proper filtered results. The filter did not execute the delete. That I ra...

Re: undefinded variable error in events.php while using Filt
I am running 1.28.1 and this error also appears on 1.28.106 both are running on Tahr 6.03 CE Puppy Linux. Otherwise Zoneminder runs rock solid on this OS built from source. Also using X10 CM19a USB transceiver with motion sensors to trigger events. Tahr 6.+ puppy linux is built from Ubuntu 14.04 bin...

undefinded variable error in events.php while using Filters
I keep running across an undefined variable error in /zm/skins/classic/views/events.php while using the Event Filters. Line 29 : executeFilter( $tempFilterName );
While submitting or execution it can appear when selecting all the events after a filter submit, and giving the Delete command.

Re: One computer serving cameras to main server?
I use Zoneminder on several machines that a central machine collects the camera streams from. So Zoneminder to Zoneminder, with the central machine not actually connected to any camera itself. I use the path like /cgi-bin/nph-zms?mode=jpeg&monitor=1&scale=100&maxfps=5&buffer=1000&...

Re: Montage view, monitors aligning vertically(SOLVED)
Turns out the problem is the path to the CSS for the montage views is incorrect, for some reason. The directory structure zoneminder is looking for, should have the necessary css files in /skins/classic/views/css. In my installation{s} the css files needed are in /skins/classic/css/classic/views. So...

Re: Montage view, monitors aligning vertically
I would use a package and have had good experiences with Ubuntu but the operating system this project is based on is Puppy Linux Tahr 6.0 CE which is built on the Ubuntu 14.04 binaries. The Ubuntu package or the Debian are difficult to get running and I have had great success compiling ZoneMinder 1....

Re: Montage view, monitors aligning vertically
Thanks for the idea. Seems to happen across all the browsers I am testing with. I tried the Firefox fix...it did not change the problem. Instead of aligning horizontally across the page all the monitor views align vertically. It is like there is no response from when a different layout is selected. ...

Re: Montage view, monitors aligning vertically(SOLVED)
Once in awhile I come across this error but this time can't seem to fix it. The Montage view lines up vertically regardless of the Layout style selected. Any ideas on what I did or what I can do to fix it?

Re: v1.28 compile error on Puppy Linux Tahr (SOLVED)
After some tinkering I was able to compile version 1.28 (configure 2 crucial symlinks) and the console runs and zoneminder starts. So far every works. ZoneMinder v1.28 OS : Puppy Linux Tahr 6.0 CE with libpolkitgobject-1-dev_0.105-3_i386.deb XAMPP Linux 5.6.3-0 cmake -DZM_WEBDIR=/opt/lamp/htdocs/zm ...

Re: v1.28 compile error on Puppy Linux Tahr
Update : I was able to compile version 1.28 using cmake -DZM_WEBDIR=/opt/lampp/htdocs/zm -DZM_WEBUSER=daemon -DZM_WEBGROUP=daemon -DZM_CGIDIR=/opt/lampp/cgi-bin . I had been using ./bootstrap.sh ./configure previously. Now though ZoneMinder starts with complaints and the local camera turns on BUT t...

v1.28 compile error on Puppy Linux Tahr
After many successful builds of zoneminder 1.27 I attempted to compile v1.28. I have successfully installed POLKIT and seemed to have crossed all the hurdles for a completed build BUT have now a /lib/libcrypto.so.1.0.0 error adding symbols after zm_rtsp_auth.o undefined reference to symbol 'MD5@@OPE...

Re: error install zoneminder
in puppy linux this error is caused a write permission on a directory in the environment path. Look at the permissions for each directory in the environment path. Change to read only and it will be fixed.

Re: Where's the latest tarball, build and install instructio
I see the issue. The initial 'zm_create.sql' file does not setup the DB with the latest requirements. Use 'zm_update-1.27.1.sql' in the 'db' folder of the source to resolve the problem. Depending on your config this command might need the password option but if you stop ZM and execute 'mysql zm < z...

Re: RE: Raspberry Pi Webcam in Zoneminder?
have you tried to stream the RPi webcam with FFserver and FFmpeg and then capture on a machine running ZoneMinder. I have read that zoneminder has been sucessfully installed on Raspberry Pi. Then zoneminder was the streamer remote for the second ZoneMinder as master controller.
