Using rtmp stream really works. No smearing at the moment on 1.32.3

I´m testing ZM 1.32.3 too. CPU load is ~20% more than ZM 1.30.4 by mostly same settings. The only changing things was using storageareas, x264 bypassing, enabled audio recording and switch my Reolink from rtsp to rtmp against smearing in 1.31 and above. I´m using 3x 1080P and 1x 1440P all on 8 fps. ...

Reolink RLC-410-5MP works only on 1.30.4 by now. I have some VM with various 1.32 for testing but no luck with Reolink. I think the capture height from @janw is taken from VLC MediaInfo Buffer Size. On my 5MP it say Video-Resolution is 2560x1440 and Buffer Size is 2560x1442. When i set a height of 1...

Since downgrade no smearing anymore.

I´m back to 1.30.4 for testing. It shows the same 5% usage on clean install. I think 5% of 100G is a little bit to much for journaling, etc as jwarfin mean.

One thing more for the devs

I have solve it with zmeventserver. It´s a bit overloaded for my things to do but it works. I use it to trigger ioBroker. Install an configure it like the README. After install and make sure zmeventnotification.pl is working without errors, modify that file at line 504 right after @push_events..... ...

I´m gone back to 1.30.4 for testing my cameras. Reolink and Foscam works fine with Remote Source. No Reolink smearing anymore. Storage changes was easy made by editing /etc/fstab. I think there are many things to do for the devs. On the other side 1.30.4 works stable but has no audio and h264 passth...

Hope you find the problem. I can´t reproduce the issue. Smearing comes up 1-2 times a day for around 2 hours. When it works the camera make very good pictures.

Edit: apt command for holding zoneminder is "apt-mark hold zoneminder". More than easy

I have a lot of ffmpeg smearing issues with RLC-410-5MP on ZM 1.31.45

Now i want to try "Remote". Unfortunately i got a 404 error (stream not found) and dont know why
All settings are fine.

Anyone has an idea?

I don´t use FAST_DELETE. It shows 5% usage since starting up ZM on clean system. zmaudit ist running every 15 minutes.

I use a own empty 100GB logical volume for event storage (/data/video/).

ZM tell me i use 5% (5.07GB) of storage but "du -sh /data/video/" give me All events are deleted.
Whats wrong? Any ideas?
