Hi blanx No you dont have to mess with the permissions on / inside the /etc/cron.d directory since Cron will change them just as as fast as you can, but you have to make sure that the cron file from the package have the right premissions inside the /etc/cron.d directory, and they are: Owner: root.ro...

Hi Beofres

Yes it should still work on the 1.22.x, i have not tested it on 1.23.x(BETA).

I know that there have been some problems with other distros than FC based once.

Hi Ynn

My normal practice is to assign half of the system memory as shared memory.

That seems to fix most of my shmget problems.

For a 1024mb system that results in my sysctl file having the following values:

Code: Select all

kernel.shmmax=536674304
kernel.shmall=536674304

On the other hand, it is allways a good thing for a system to be open minded, but that is allways equal more work for the developer since he/th...

Hi Blaxer The string you have printed looks to be around 128Megs of shared memory, i have a nasty habbet of dedicating about half of the physical memory to shared memory, since (from what i understand) ZM will use the shared memory to handle pics, so the more cams you have attached to your ZM box an...

Hi James

Just remember that it was the best thing for him, there was no reason for him to suffer.

And just remember that cancer is an ugly afair and that you can in most cases only prolong the life for awhile.
