£25 on top, OMG :shock:

So a $40 (£20?) will cost me £60 to get to me?
and a $139 (£70) will cost me £120.

Hmm, maybe a cheap PVR from ebay via Hong Kong is in order here!

Yes, they do. Cheers. My "new" pc built for the job is an athlon XP1700, 512MB ram, with 80gig HD. Looks like i may not be able to use the 2 old cheap cctv cards I had. So if I got the $40 card (25fps Total??) it would be ok? BUT if I went for the 4 ch real time (120fps) would I be asking...

Sorry to be a nube (linux is all new, just used the live cd and got it running, ut no video in) I have 2 cheap ebay cards from chine. Can you please explain how to lspci ???

I assume this is from the pci card data?

Linspire's big difference is the CNR (Click N Run) technology that makes installing packages / programs really easy. (Never used it myself) Zoneminder isn't available (afaik) in a CNR package, and building from source will need a lot of packages that probably won't be available using the CNR softwa...

if your new rather than learn linspire, why dont you pick one of the zm distros, ie 1) LiveCD, everything you need to run zm live 2) CTU zm Corey Excellent Fedora based ZM install CD 3) ZM 2006, Ross's ZM install CD (My choice) I would recommend any of the above as there are step by step easy insta...
