Does hwacc gives you anything at all now ?
For my 1.34.x instalation, I have it enabled with mocord H264 passthrough, but it gives me literally nothing, compared to disabling it.

Re: Upgrade ZM 1.34 to 1.36 Ubuntu 20.04
When can we expect packages being ready on the zoneminder repo, https://zmrepo.zoneminder.com/debian/release-1.36/ ?

Re: repeating authentication errors
Check the permissions on the file /var/log/zm/zmu.log, service must be able to write to it. (and the parent folder "zm")

Re: Multiple servers
So I am disappointed I expected CPU and bandwidth levels to drop (kind of be split amongst the servers) when adding another server. I guess I do not quite understand the benefit of having another server. Could someone explain to me the benefits? They do not work in a cluster per say. So what you ha...

[SOLVED] zoneminder keeps restarting
Running 1.34.25, Im getting this all the time in the logs. Apr 27 13:09:09 zoneminder zmc_m18[819]: WAR [zmc_m18] [ImageBufferCount 375 is too small. Needs to be at least 553. Either increase it or decrease time between keyframes] Apr 27 13:09:09 zoneminder zmpkg[3745]: INF [Sanity checking States t...

Re: HW Optimisation?
I have no experience in GPU offload at all, but I would asume, that it would take almost all of the CPU usage. But I could be wrong, so even though its 7-10%, its still not that much IMHO.
If you have A LOT of cameras, it would of course give you something.

Re: HW Optimisation?
I've would have expected much better numbers... Like CPU usage, to drop to almost zero. But maybe im wrong, in the way it works, so this would not happen at all.

Re: Zoneminder 1.33 configuring cameras
Define too fast, and whats too much of disk ?.
I have only 2 cameras at this time, and it takes roughly ~150GB in total, with data for 2 weeks. Thats 24/7 hours recording in 1920 x 1080 resolution, which is defiantly not bad at all.

Re: cuda on geforce gt 1030
This is interesting, but how much CPU reduction will this essentially give in different scenarios?
Would be awesome, if it would be possible to get almost CPU usage, using "mocord" ?

Re: Err: ZoneMinder CCTV recording and surveillance system
Can you provide some more log lines from daemon.log syslog, journalctl -xe ?
Also, make sure that no zm processes are running at all..
I've described the exact steps here ? BUT it might be, that the problem is NOT the same.

Try to remove the comment on the "User" line, right under [service] and then run
Code: Select all
systemctl daemon-reload
systemctl start zoneminder

Which errors exactly ?..
And FYI.. According to your output, you are still running 1.33.
