Re: 1.30.2 upgrade breaks API access
I can confirm both the systemd-tmpfiles command and a reboot create the necessary directory structure.

Re: 1.30.2 upgrade breaks API access
I should clarify that everything is working now that I manually created the cache directories. When I first encountered the issue, the symlink was in place, but the directory /var/lib/zoneminder/temp/cache did not exist (just the "cache" part...rest of it was there). Once I manually create...

Re: 1.30.2 upgrade breaks API access
I'm on Fedora 24 and updated from zmrepo using dnf. I then followed the upgrade instructions in the readme.Fedora file. That process worked without problems, and the standard web interface worked fine. It was only when I tried to access the API directly that I had a problem.

1.30.2 upgrade breaks API access
After upgrading from 1.30.0 to 1.30.2, zmNinja would not function. I could also not access the API from a web browser. Investigating produced log file entries indicating write permission errors in two different directories: [Fri Mar 31 08:23:53.710944 2017] [:error] [pid 14004] [client 96.9.246.195:...

In any event, I have confirmed that this camera is streaming over TCP.

Re: Received RTCP_RR packet errors
This camera is configured as RTP/RTSP, which from my understanding forces TCP.

Received RTCP_RR packet errors
Recently I have been seeing errors in the log of the form "Received RTCP_RR packet." These are coming from the one Axis camera I have on the network. Any idea what this means and why they are considered an error condition? The camera seems to be working fine.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: [WORKAROUND] "Smearing" on H.264 RTSP Cameras
I have noticed that there appears to be a patch in the current 1.27.1 source for this problem. In FfmpegCamera::PrimeCapture() class in zm_ffmpeg_camera.cpp, I noticed the following code: // Set transport method as specified by method field, rtpUni is default if ( Method() == "rtpMulti" ) ...

Log viewer always starts at beginning and scrolls
Hi folks, Hopefully I'm missing something really obvious here. I just upgraded my environment to ZM 1.27.1 built from latest source. I have everything functioning properly except for the log viewer. Every time I start it, it starts displaying the earliest log entries and then proceeds to scroll thro...

Re: Zoneminder RPM & SRPM for Fedora
The latest set of updates for Fedora 20 appear to have resolved the issue with the gnutls libraries. I am able to run ZM 1.26.5 with the following gnutls packages: gnutls-dane-3.1.20-4.fc20.x86_64 gnutls-devel-3.1.20-4.fc20.x86_64 gnutls-debuginfo-3.1.20-4.fc20.x86_64 gnutls-3.1.20-4.fc20.x86_64 gnu...

Re: Zoneminder RPM & SRPM for Fedora
I have confirmed that the issue with the latest gnutls library is present when rebuilding from your latest source rpm on Fedora 20. I successfully rebuilt and installed the following: rpmbuild --rebuild zoneminder-1.26.5-1.fc19.src.rpm yum install /root/rpmbuild/RPMS/x86_64/zoneminder-1.26.5-1.fc20....

Re: Segfaults with ZM 1.26.5 and Fedora 20 64 bit
I actually identified the source of the problem this morning but didn't have time to post. It is the gnutls library. I recently updated that to 3.1.20-1.fc20.x86_64 as part of a yum update. I downgraded it via yum downgrade to 3.1.16-1.fc20.x86_64 and the segfaults completely disappeared. It appears...
