I messed around with it from work but really can't tell if it's moving. It's showing the same errors mine is now that I changed the settings to reflect my setup. I'll check out my settings again when I get home. I'm sure it's just something simple we missed.

When you setup the new control entry did you make sure you called the protocol mjpgStreamer? It looks like you did from the zmcontrol output, but just making sure. No, not in addition. When making the DVD I mixed up that controlcap.php file when I was pulling it from your new release. I'll get that file sent to you along with the settings for the control's that work with the Orbit AF.

I've tried every device I could get my hands on and really didn't have an issue with anything, other then the control settings page. I'll try and get you guys out an update to bring the DVD up to the newest 2740. I've did it all locally on the same DVD I've put out. My only concern is any changes you guys might have made could be lost in an upgrade.

The following should just about do it, atleast for Ubuntu or Kubuntu 8.04/8.10. They are actually listed twice in the file in two differnet spots. ‘PIX_FMT_VDPAU_H264’ ‘PIX_FMT_VDPAU_MPEG1’ ‘PIX_FMT_VDPAU_MPEG2’ ‘PIX_FMT_VDPAU_H264’ ‘PIX_FMT_VDPAU_MPEG1’ ‘PIX_FMT_VDPAU_MPEG2’

Same here, no problem. Hope it works out for you as everything appears fine on my end.

You need to edit the following file,

zm_local_camera.cpp

Find the 6 lines mentioned and comment them out.

PIX_FMTVDPAU_H264 and so on, you will find them listed twice. Once about a 1/4 way down and the other section about half or more down. Then rerun the config and you should be fine.

I'm not going to leave it up for much longer. I'm working on a newer build that's going to have Zoneminder installed, but it's going to intergrate with another project I'm helping.
