Re: zm_event_start.sh: How to set mysql unix socket?

Thanks, will test that. I probably should send-in some upstream patches (to Alpine Linux) to get the ZM_CONFIG_DIR fixed. Regarding question 1: I'm following your Test operation guide. 'zm_event_start.sh' seems to try to connect to the mysql database by network port (localhost:3306). Something i don...

Re: Unusable picture (b/w and shifted) using 1.34

Change the 1280 in +/-8 steps like 1272, 1288, 1296... The skew should reduce in one direction.

zm_event_start.sh: How to set mysql unix socket?

I've initially set up ZMES/opencv doing the postinstall tests: $ sudo -u nginx /var/lib/zmeventnotification/bin/zm_event_start.sh 3211 1 File "/usr/lib/python3.8/site-packages/mysql/connector/network.py", line 606, in open_connection self.sock.connect(sockaddr) ConnectionRefusedError: [Errno 111] Co...

Re: ZoneMinder 1.32.3 Freenas API Failure

Is it not strange its looking in /zm/api/app..... shouldnt it be /usr/local/www/zm/api/app...... '/usr/local/www' is the base/root folder of the webserver. It should be defined somewhere. You work relative to that. Also note that my rewrite is an nginx command. Most ZM installs use Apache i guess. ...

Re: zm_detect.py error when testing zm_event_start.sh

Are you sure it detected your bsd system properly and you have the proper environment? Opencv officially supports freebsd. It should compile out of the box (i guess).

Re: zm_detect.py error when testing zm_event_start.sh

Actually, i had no issues compiling opencv 4.3.0pre (master). I didn't compile the contrib packages or any optional dependencies (png, tiff, python...) though. I haven't deployed it to the target machine yet though. git clone https://github.com/opencv/opencv.git mkdir build && cd build cmake -D CMAK...

Your cgi backend might be corrupt as well. Maybe its easier to setup from scratch again.

Re: zm_detect.py error when testing zm_event_start.sh

On what cpu/hardware do you run freenas? I'm planning to run opencv on an i5-2500 (without gpu) but i'm not sure if it will be usable at all.

Re: ZoneMinder 1.32.3 Freenas API Failure

There is not much one can do on a custom build like yours from outside. I would recommend to contact the maintainer of the freenas package. As a wild guess, i would say your rewrite is necessary and shouldn't be removed (but fixed instead). I have an explicit entry as well (nginx): location /zm/api/...

What's the distance between analysis and reference image?

What's the distance (in frames) between the analysis and reference image? Is it the 'warmup frames' value? The 'analysis frames' alarm pixels show a "look-through" effect if a person walks by so the the reference frame must be some frames behind (that is correct of course). The question is how far a...

Re: zoneminder installation error

If you are on LXC anyway why not use Arch Linux (or Manjaro) as guest? It has an AUR package that is very easy to install (if you can handle Arch). I'm on LXC/Alpine but it's rather for hardcore users in its current state. Regarding the problem in the 1st post it looks like the db user either doesn'...

Re: Errors - not sure why

The pixel values are equivalent to the previous percentage value if you switch (just the same value in pixels) so nothing would change. You would have to change the values to make a difference.

Re: Modetect false alarms

Raise the min areas. Get familiar how to tune the zones by reading the docs and tutorials.
There is not much gain in using two streams though as both streams are decompressed anyway. I tested that as well some days ago.

Check the logs. A time shift of 3 minutes should put out some results.
