Re: Alarm status is not ended with Norecord
Initial test shows it is working now. Will see what it does over night. Expecting snow and that usually results in lots of events. FYI - I had gone back to 1.36 from the Debian repo. Upgraded to the 1.37.50 from the zmrepo with no apparent issues. Have not checked all the settings yet... May have to...

I've just noticed the events are going to 10 minutes in most cases even with a 5 alarmed frames event.

Re: Some users unable to view Console once logged in
@bbunge 1.37.48 has a screwup, which I think I have now fixed. The Monitors permission now has a new value available: Create. So you can limit a user to only edit existing monitors. A lot of code specifically looks for a value of Edit though. I think I've got them all fixed, but may yet have missed...

Re: Some users unable to view Console once logged in
After a fresh install of 1.37.48 I discovered that the user I crested for myself with all the edit permissions enabled was not able to add a monitor/camera. Only the default admin user can add monitors. I was unable to find a setting to allow an added user to add monitors. This is not good for me as...

Re: Some users unable to view Console once logged in
Nope, not resolved. On the 1.37.48 version upgraded today and Console is still missing from the menu.
Edit: Also can not edit zones.

Re: Is zmninja still able to play back events for anyone? How do I get events working in zmninja again?
Well, the WIKI install for Debian 12 and ZM 1.36 does not use the zmrepo but the version of Zoneminder in the Debian 12 repo. And that install is entirely different from installs done from zmrepo. Your best bet is to reinstall Debian 12 afresh and do the Zoneminder install using the 1.37.x install i...

Re: Is zmninja still able to play back events for anyone? How do I get events working in zmninja again?
I am happy to report that I am able to playback events in ZmNinja (the old unsupported version). My ZM server is running Debian 12 with ZM 1.37 and has 36 days up time and with a couple of errors in the log some days I have had no problems! Did you use my install instructions on the WIKI for Debian ...

Re: Glitched Frames Triggering Events
Try using a lower resolution and/or frame rate. Sometimes less is better. It has been a while since I've use a USB cam on Zoneminder but I seem to remember there are other "color" settings that can be adjusted. Might be a good idea to post your settings for the cam.

Zoneminder 1.37.x on Debian 12 Bookworm
I've added an install procedure with a script to the WIKI.

I've done this on my home ZM system and it is working very well!

Re: Ugly web interface after upgrade
When you upgraded to Bookworm your existing Zoneminder was overwritten by the 1.36.x version in the Debian repository. Your best bet is to start with a fresh install of Debian 12 and install Zoneminder per the WIKI: https://wiki.zoneminder.com/Debian_12_Bookworm_with_Zoneminder_1.36.33 Or use the in...
