Re: Onvif broken

After trying to run some of the zmonvif commands manually it seems to be hanging on probing for profiles. Not sure where to go from here

Re: Onvif broken

I just did an update and now it shows all my cameras but I still get a blank screen where I should be selecting the stream after I input my user and password. when I take the <br/><br/> off the front of the command I get: Name "ZoneMinder::ONVIF::verbose" used only once: possible typo at /...

Onvif broken

Ubuntu 18.04 ZM 1.33.14. When adding my cameras via onvif probe It only sees 2 of my cameras which are here at the house but it doesn't see the others at my shed across a wifi bridge. I see them fine in my 1.30.4 instance. The 2 that it does see I enter my uname and password and click next it just s...

Re: Timezone error

This is the line in the script that fills the timezone awk '$0="date.timezone = "$0' /etc/timezone >> /etc/php/7.2/apache2/php.ini Check the file /etc/timezone to make sure it is correct for your area. Next check /etc/php/7.2/apache2/php.ini at the very end of the file for the date.timezo...

Timezone error

I just did a new install ubuntu 18.04 via the easy way script I just changed the ppa from zoneminder-1.32 to zoneminder-master and I'm getting an error: ZoneMinder is not installed properly: php's date.timezone +0000 does not match the system timezone -0600! So I assume I need to update a php file s...

Is there an easy way to upgrade? Clicking on the version says it is the most current. Installed with "the easy way" script

Re: Hello... Some random questions... Timeline, Users, Main/Sub Stream

When adding or editing users under the users tab at the bottom of window there is a restricted monitors section where you can select which monitors to allow them to access. I don't know of a way to only let them do some actions on some monitors but different actions on others. It's kind of an all or...

Re: Buffer overrun with plenty of resources

I turned off saving frames+analysis images for the 4 monitors that had it on and no more errors. On the status summary of the VM it shows going from 40M down to around 3M on the disk IO. Is there a way I can keep the frames? I like being able to hover my mouse across the timeline and get sort of a t...

Re: Buffer overrun with plenty of resources

How about disk IO? Pauses when writing can cause buffer overruns. 30 isn't really that many buffers. It's on a proxmox server with its own dedicated storage array, six 3TB set up in raid (I don't remember what the raid is, I think raid10) so it is striped and mirrored ending up to be 9TB of storage...

Re: Buffer overrun with plenty of resources

Also when I am watching 4 of the monitors live in montage if one goes into alarm that monitor temporary freezes, sometimes it catches up by fast forwarding and sometimes it just skips to the current frames and resumes normal operation.

Buffer overrun with plenty of resources

I have plenty of resources but all of a sudden I've been getting Buffer overrun errors. I haven't changed anything from when I didn't see these errors. I'm only using 2.43G out of 19G of ram. /dev/shm: 7%. Load is 6.26 on 12 processors. Just trying to iron out these details before I put this one in ...

Re: H264 Pass through VS X264 Server Load

If you have values set for "Maximum FPS" and/or "Alarm Maximum FPS," try clearing them. That worked! Thanks! I thought that it was best practice to put a value in a little above what your camera is set to so that if something went wrong it would keep frame rates down... Seems li...
