I have a clean 1.22 LiveCD installation, and I get duplicate zones sometimes. I can't be sure, but it might be that when I click on "Save" I am either clicking AGAIN (because it takes so long to react that I think I missed it), or alternatively a "double-click" is being registered. Either way, it ...

That's what I thought (and hoped) however the documentation seems to suggest otherwise: [/i]Can you see where my confusion is coming from? Ok.. I checked the contents of the MySQL database and the Zones table. I'll choose one at random (and show the relevent columns) Id,MonitorId,Name,Type,Units ...

Still unsure about the zone percentages if anyone can shed any light? Indeed, anyone got any good advice regarding these settings? The zone is calculated to consist of a number of pixels. The percentage relates to THIS number of pixels (Not of the whole image). So if you had a zone that covered 5 ...

Do you have any other way of testing the camera? I have found that I can plug mine into my portable DVD player and view the image on the screen. Very useful for pointing the camera in the right place without dashing back to a Web browser. In your case, it would prove that the camera is/isn't ok. If ...

Re: Can i run it in old hardware ??

Hi guys, Is it possible to run live-cd or at least install as text mode in a k6-2 300mhz with 196mb Ram ?? :) Taz You processor is fine. You RAM looks a bit light. Since memory is cheap, I'd suggest bumping it up a bit. My rig was "PII 233Mhz, 256Mb Ram, 80GB Hard disk. Ancient WinTV card from ...

Is this actually in the FAQ or instructions? I did look  I know what you mean... I asked loads of questions to begin with, and THEN found the answers in the docs. In this case, your answers were there in section 8.7. Options and Users if you are running in un-authenticated mode then no user ...

The "it works" page shows that your web server is running... The zoneminder stuff can be found at http://www.mydomain.co.uk/zm (obviously replace www.mydomain.co.uk with your specific details). I don't know if the use of "/zm" is supposed to deter opportunist people from finding your installation ...

Just to close this off (I hope). I ran for a few days with the modified ACPI, panic reboot and reduced buffers.. without any panics. So I reinstated the lilo.conf file that LiveCD installed initially for me (ie: no modification to the ACPI or auto-reboot setting), and I have now been up for a ...

Depending upon your DIY skills, you can make your own "covert" camera using a CCD camera board from Maplin, and whatever you want as your "front" for the camera.

I can testify that Bluecherry definately ships to the UK (Got my PV149 delivered last week... Thanks Curtis). What with the strong pound versus the dollar, it's silly not to buy brand new. Just remember, that ParcelForce will sting you for a customs charge of £25 before they will release the package ...

Do you have any odd or experimental filesystem, or dodgy disk Its a vanilla install from the LiveCD, I don't think the disks are dodgy (but it is conceivable). Since posting, I have changed lilo.conf to "force ACPI" and also to auto-reboot after a panic (30 seconds). Finally I have reduced ...
