After further investigation changing system locale from de_DE to en_US seem to have solved the problem.
Obviously the different decimal separator used in Germany caused the problem.
Since a few days my log is filled with the following message every minute. I run 1.37 in production, but in a virtual machine. Good point. I now installed timeshift which allows me to make snapshots and roll back. Before I upgrade my productive environment (Intel NUC) I usually test the newer builds on my Raspbrry PI 4.

Same problem here with zoneminder_1.37.55~20240313.153-bookworm_amd64
Once motion is detected it keeps on recording even if the trigger event is gone. Alarm remains on (red frame). Setting is OnMotion.
I installed zoneminder both on my Odroid (armhf) and my RP 4 (arm64).
Odroid is on version 1.37.55 whereas RP4 ist still on 1.37.54.
Is that on purpose? If so, why?
