I can only assume you’ve not read this topic from the start, or some kind of AI(lol).

Yes, there is a problem. It's unclear why.
We will try to resolve it as soon as possible.

Re: Web page controls layout and preset not working

The setting of presets is still broken though. I even updated this morning to see if anything had changed. What update do you currently have installed? Problems with zooming in the browser and displaying the control panel have been fixed in version 1.37.56~20240321124416 If you have 1.37.56~2024032...

Re: Web page controls layout and preset not working

Check your browser's zoom setting. It's probably less than 100%. This was indeed the problem, thanks for the suggestion and taking time out to respond. It never even occurred to me and I don't remember changing the zoom level so must have been a long time ago. The setting of presets is still broken...

Web page controls layout and preset not working

My controls don't align properly and I don't think they ever have, and I seem to have lost the ability to set a preset since doing an update yesterday. I use Firefox, and am currently on 123.0.1 My zoneminder installed version apt-cache policy zoneminder zoneminder: Installed: 1.37.55~20240315091333...

Re: Hikvision Control Settings

Resolved this by setting the auto stop to 0 although I am sure I tried this previously.

Hikvision Control Settings

Hello, After battling my own ineptitude and getting Hikvision PTZ control working, and also tackling Multiport, I am now trying to get the camera movement working properly. I have set auto stop to 1s as a single click was causing the camera to PAN for 10s, rather than stop once I let go. The problem...

Re: Hikvision PTZ control

After doing a tcpdump and analysing the traffic, along with finding a copy of the ISAPI manual I could see the reason it wasn't working is because I am an idiot. Thanks for your patience with this. In control device I was putting the device name not the id of what I wanted to control. Once I set the...

Re: Hikvision PTZ control

Done that, I have also done a complete machine restart as there were some updates. I even cleared the log_debug_file and nothing discernible has appeared. I even did find . -mmin -20 to see all the files created within the last 20 mins but they all appeared to be the standard logging files. root@cog...

Re: Hikvision PTZ control

I restarted several times using the button on the top right of the web page before attempting to get debug output, should it be done directly on the systemd service?

Re: Hikvision PTZ control

Ok, I am home and back looking at this. I have logging set as the image, but I don't get an output file. Are my logging settings ok, and are there any other components I should be logging? Since I took the image I have added _zmcontrol to the debug targets but still no joy

Re: Hikvision PTZ control

Debug was on, and set to level 9, this was the only output I got even though I specified a separate file. I’m away on a course now until Friday so I’ll have a go again when I’m back.

Re: Hikvision PTZ control

I turned on debug logging with it set to level 9 and added zmc_m1 and zmcontrol as the target. Re: Hikvision PTZ control

I'm back on this after a few months away. I kind of gave up on it to be honest, but I'm still determined to get a solution that doesn't rely on HikVision to access cameras remotely. I have had a look at a few things in the logs. I could see there was an error being generated in the zmdc.log because ...

Re: Hikvision PTZ control

It wouldn't write to /var/log either so I tried /var/log/zm and still no logging output to a dedicated file as specified.
