It looks like I found a solution. Make the events not "archived" and then slect them and delete them, it worked!

You will have to login to the camera and figure that out. Amcrest does not make it very easy to find the firmware and sometimes the version of hardware is ambiguous.

This is from 2010 and gets me close but not enough. FYI : Axis tech support is useless.
