Upgrade oddity 1.36.x

I have two different computers with zoneminder, One with the apt repository of iconnor-ubuntu-zoneminder-1_36-focal.list upgrades to 1.36.33 as expected. {focal is Ubuntu 20.04} The other with the apt repository of iconnor-ubuntu-zoneminder-1_36-jammy.list upgrades to 1.36.12. FYI: that format is adduser [USER] [GROUP]
If you try it twice, it gives the helpful error message below.
The user `www-data' is already a member of `video'.

Been searching for a while but have not found out how to set an alarm duration and text using the API, like it is possible with ZM Trigger. ZM Trigger example: 1|on+20|1|External Motion|External Motion Where monitor 1 gets triggered for 20 seconds and shows External Motion in the %Q part of the time...

In my system I am using ZMTrigger and the %Q option for Timestamp and would like to insert a newline before the external data provided by %Q. Using a Timestamp string of: %N - %d/%m/%y %H:%M:%S %Q Then using telnet: 1|show||||testingOSD for example. This shows the name, date, time, and external data...
