If I connect a SSD via USB - will that do? Won’t I have again a bandwidth issue due to USB?
Issue is, that I don’t have slots left in my server.

Re: Playback issues - .sock does not exist
Sorry, should have mention it:
ZM 1.36.33 on Debian 11
This is happening for a while now. I just didn't have the time to bring this up here earlier, but it's going on for months.

Playback issues - .sock does not exist
Hi, I have quite regularly the problem, that the playback of certain recordings doesn't work. The strange thing is that I cannot see a pattern when this happens and when not. For example today. I have around 10 recordings from the last 24 hours. But when I start to play one after the other, it happe...

Issue after apt upgrade
Hi, I'm running ZM 1.36 on a Debian bullseye machine. Had no issues recently until today when I did apt update & upgrade. Since then I can't connect via web browser nor zmNinja. The service runs without error. Here what I see in cake_error after I try to logon: 2022-07-05 21:03:49 Error: [PDOExc...

Maybe this helps? I see this error in my apache2/error.log [Wed Apr 27 14:45:19.780501 2022] [cgi:warn] [pid 1137627] [client 10.0.1.50:57243] AH01220: Timeout waiting for output from CGI script /usr/lib/zoneminder/cgi-bin/zms, referer: http://10.0.1.10/zm/index.php?view=event&eid=202781&fil...

Playback issues
Hi, I encountering a lot of issues with playing recorded events. Especially since upgrading to 1.36 this became very unstable for me. I am running ZM 1.36.14 on a Debian 11 bullseye machine (amongst other services on that server). Live view works without any problem. But when opening an event some p...

Re: log error
Also, there should never be a frame 00000. If it is complaining about that, there is something seriously wrong. Hi @iconnor, Sorry to pick this up here again. But since I upgraded to 1.34 I have this issue when trying to playback recordings. I have 1.34.14 now (on Debian 11). Here what I see in the...

Re: Upgrade from 1.34 to 1.36 on Debian broke ZM
Unfortunately I was too fast... Live view does work again for both monitors, alarming as well (Modect). Events get recorded. BUT: playback of the recordings doesn't work. I get a black screen with this message: Can't open /var/cache/zoneminder/events/2/2022-04-19/200976/00000-capture.jpg: No such fi...

Re: Upgrade from 1.34 to 1.36 on Debian broke ZM
Looks like I was able to fix this. After some debugging I found the error: [Invalid font location: /usr/share/zoneminder/www/fonts/default.zmfnt] The file default.zmfnt did exist in folder /usr/share/zoneminder/fonts but not in /user/share/zoneminder/www/fonts . So I copied it over there and now bot...

Re: Upgrade from 1.34 to 1.36 on Debian broke ZM
This is not an option, as there is more than ZM running on this server.

Re: Upgrade from 1.34 to 1.36 on Debian broke ZM
Hi, I seem to have a similar problem. Running a Debian server which I upgraded from 9 to 11 recently. Since then I have issues with ZM. I realised that 1.36 is now the current version so I changed the zoneminder.list file to point to 1.36 bullseye. But now it seems to be completely broken. Not sure ...

Re: Time to next event
Can anybody help me with this issue please?
It's really odd that the clips are kind of out of order - they start to play with frame e.g. 20, then all of a sudden there is a break and it continues with frame 1 - then there comes the black screen with the 'Time to next event' message.

Time to next event
I know this is an old topic, but it came back to me a couple of weeks back and I have no clue how to get rid of it - despite browsing through the forum for hours now... I'm running ZM 1.34.21 on Debian 9.13 stretch. When showing a recording - regardless whether directly with the web console or on zm...
