Re: VStarCam C-16s
The camera's setup options seem very limited and appear to require the manufacturers' cell phone app. The camera's manual (available on the manufacturer's website) doesn't indicate that it has a web server on port 80. What happens if you point a browser at 192.168.0.112?

Re: Two cameras, neither connects
Your post said you had a "solarcam." It did not say "solar camera." Those are two completely different things. Web searches for "solarcam" do no return anything like what you have.
You should have put that Amazon link in your very first post.

Re: Two cameras, neither connects
OK. All I did was enter solarcam into a search engine (I use duckduckgo) and got the SOLARCam web site. https://www.mysolarcam.com/en/ If you scroll down the page you will find the description of the phone stating that it is a " modified Sony Android smartphone. " Maybe there is a way of g...

Re: Two cameras, neither connects
From what I can see, SOLARCam is a modified smartphone and not a true IP camera. I'm not sure there is any way to make it work with ZM.

Re: Two cameras, neither connects
Once you have the Foscam camera's IP address, you should be able to point your web browser at that address and log into the camera's web interface. There you should find a checkbox or something similar that selects DHCP. Uncheck that to unselect DHCP and you should be able to enter a static IP addre...

This may have happened due to a browser or other security update on your machine. Just change your bookmark to point to the current URL that works for you. That's what I had to do.

No.
I'm pretty sure that was his way of saying some users are much too concerned about load numbers.

Re: HankVision Megapixel WIP6001
Try rtsp://admin:admin@<ip address>//Streaming/Channels/1 as the RTSP path. It's from my only HikVision camera. It's default login/password combo is admin/12345. You could substitute that in the code above, although it would be a bit strange if they used a different login than that of port 80.

Re: ZoneMinder, Mobile Apps & Delay Alerts
There is an intrusion within the MD zone, camera senses it, sends alert to phone, but with Ring, it averages 3 minutes before you can actually see what the hell the alert is all about, which defeats the whole purpose to installing a security system. Now that happens no matter if I'm home in the net...

Re: Get a camera not mounted
Try
Source Type: Ffmpeg
Method: TCP
If that does not work, check the camera manufacturer's website or search the web for something other than onvif1 for that model.

Re: Time dependent zones
I am playing around with Preclusive zones but not really getting useful results. Any recommendations which settings best to use? My main use for them is suppressing events that occur due to the cameras changing over from daylight to night mode (IR) and vice-versa. Small Preclusive zones are recomme...

Re: Battery operated Cameras with Solar Charger Backup
Yes, but a read of the ReoLink site has general information regarding battery operation of surveillance cameras, which may be of use to the OP. Almost any decent 12vdc powered IP camera with wireless could be used with battery power as long as the battery and solar panel were properly sized, and the...
