thanks i downgraded it sorta worked so wiped the system and did a fresh install with debian bullseye and zoneminder 1.34 i do have an analog capture card and transposing 9 cameras to mp4 is too much load it looks like zoneminder has gone all wifi devices and pretty much abandoned the old analog stuf...

i've not been able to view events when saved as individual jpeg files
viewing individual files worked in previous releases
i've asked here and got no response
if there is any work on this no one is talking
the usual response is to side step the issue with don't do that or why do you do that

i got it to work using tcp://192.168.2.70:8554 as source path but i can not get more than about 5 frames per second. i set raspivid to 30 fps and zoneminder to 300 fps. in the monitor it shows 30 fps but it appears to be about 5 fps
