I have struggle with it as well, I wanted to upgrade to 1.3, but couldnt' get it to work. Luckily I had an image of a 1.29 version, so I'm still using this one. You may want to look into installing version 1.29. It can be a little tricky to get installed. Best of luck!

I think I found out that root=www=data during the installation of zoneminder, and I don't think I want to mess with that, so www-data it is lol Not that big of a deal I guess.

Hi, I have two camera that are hooked up on old android phone. They work fine for me with the app IP Webcam. Just make sure the resolution is the same on both, you can modify the resolution with IP Webcam, I suggest you put something simple there like 640 x 480, that's what I did, and it works great...
