Re: Official Docker images

@jantman I think there are more users in that boat - the host I am running for such "home infra" works basicall as a docker hypervisor, and I'd love to throw in a zoneminder container to that bunch. I remember how happy I was (tinkering with zoneminder for quite a few years) about 2 years ...

Just wanted to update the post - after few years I tried newer zoneminder (1.36.4) and the problem is no more,

Re: 1.32.3 - Revotech cameras rebooting every few minutes.

I bought another one (a different case) from this manufacturer. Load is as the others 12-17. Same thing with zoneminder - works fine with shi-no-bi, when zoneminder grabs it, reboot after few minutes. Log below shows crash around 23:35:14 Can some of you guys help me debug this? 2019-05-03 23:35:36....

1.32.3 - Revotech cameras rebooting every few minutes.

Hi everyone, I decided to post new topic, as my previous post about this was under some old solved topic under older zm version forum. I have 8 Revotec cameras, 1080p 25fps, 802.3af POE , running on zoneminder 1.32.3 in docker container : Streaming address is ../live0.264 so similarly as in this top...

Re: SOLVED: Zoneminder causes Ventech cameras to reboot randomly

I apparently get the same issue - I have 8 of these, on zoneminder 1.32.3: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/POE-Waterproof-1920-x-1080P-2-0MP-Outdoor-Camera-6-Array-LED-Bullet-Security-Camera-ONVIF/32797655494.html So a different camera - I wouldn't be surprised if it would be the same under the hood...

Re: Cameras with both high and low def streams

Guys, I configured my substream as MODECT monitor, and added main stream as NODECT, linked to substream monitor. I defined zone on substream monitor, both are set to record x264 passtrough. However events are generated only for MODECT (substream one). I don't see any events triggered on main substre...

Re: A Onvif 360 degree camera can work with ZM?

Have you found some? How about Shi nobi?

(Apparently Shi nobi without space between Shi and nobi is being replaced by the forum engine as yahoo. That is really low.)

Re: Has anyone made TinyCam work with Zoneminder?

Did you solve your issue? In TinyCam you need to select proper "channel" - its the same as camera ID in mysql table.

Re: Issues with automatic uploading - sftp

I think the relevant bit is Insecure argument '/monitoring' on 'stat' method call while running with -T switch at /usr/bin/zmfilter.pl line 824. and then it hangs up. Google isn't returning any results... might have to post a bug to the net::SFTP maintainers is net::SFTP a perl module? A newbie que...

Re: Issues with automatic uploading - sftp

Well, the sftp does work outside of zoneminder without problems. User is jailed into home directory on remote host, and monitoring directory exist in there (right now with 777 permissions) Maybe I've entered the path into configuration wrong? UPLOAD_REM_DIR is set to /monitoring as I thought it will...

Re: Issues with automatic uploading - sftp

I did enable autoupload filter (I disabled is before, as it did generate a lot of logons to the remote server, each time I was spammed with logon info emails), with debug logging disabled (shall I enable it?) I get this output: ....And it seems that zmfilter output "looks too spamy for a new us...
