Try to add this directive at the ./configure... process:

CPPFLAGS=-D__STDC_CONSTANT_MACROS

The path where the logs will be writen must exist at php.ini:

open_basedir = /srv/http/:/home/:/tmp/:/usr/share/pear/:/etc/:/var/lib/zm/

That URL for the MD5 is not working, only the one for the ISO itself is ok.

From my experience, each time one do a "make install" the zm.conf in use is replaced by a new one and the user/pass settings to access the database are changed to the default.

I was a shared memory issue.
The root user got to much memory to himself and the uptime of the system was 33 days...

But i did not run ZM as root, at least as far as i can remember, because this was my first mistake when started with ZM.
