Re: Memory Leak/Increase and Choppy events due to Maximum Image Buffer Size

Maxbuffer 0 is saying get as big as you need, try cameras key frame interval x 2 + 1. But yes something is causing the auto setting to keep consuming buffer space.

Re: MiniPC for Zoneminder - suggestions

In terms of that same camera load yes it will be better, can always play around with fps to get more cameras working on the same hardware so going faster you should be able to process more. Could have it doing other jobs as well. Ssd is not needed for recording, but is nice for OS. I normally use sp...

Re: Memory Leak/Increase and Choppy events due to Maximum Image Buffer Size

I have seen something similar check keyframe interval on the cameras, I lowered mine. The buffer is keeping the frames until it gets a new keyframe, but mine was getting into 25 frames even though interval was 10. Eventually tweaking that and max buffer I got it happy. But some work to go in here, n...

Re: Net::MQTT::Simple Missing

Sounds like the changes here, not sure if resolved yet as looks like a change to API consumer is required

Re: Debian Repo Update

Master is always the leading edge where any new changes are merged first, it relates to GitHub master branch, so for production systems best to stay with releases which are always even numbers (1.34, 1.36). Right now 1.36.1 and 1.37 are identical so a good time to roll back to 1.36 if you need to.

Maybe contact deb-multimedia about the issue, save someone else the pain you just went through.

[Monitor dimensions are 640x360 but camera is sending 1920x1080]

Re: NFS mount? No video

All my h264 passthrough cameras are RTSP? As long as camera is sending h264 video it will write to an mp4 container when h264 passthrough is on. Historically zm wrote only jpegs that it would stream back.
Got some logs of errors doing passthrough?

This could present issues to using Deepstream.

Re: Passthrought CPU usage

No way to turn it off at the moment, it is on my own wish list. But I do still want live view, but I don't need to decode for it. Not sure why the cpu% is doing that, at first I was thinking the filter is taking it all so the others were dropping down. I will have a look at mine see if I see the same.
