Re: new libvlc advantages
Here are my findings. I have two cameras Foscam FI9828W and FI9805W I suffered a lot with the smearing effect, I had more smearing events than live ones, so I was keen to test out the libvlc method. The good news is that the smearing effect has reduced however I now experience grey screens every so ...

Re: Montage on ios Safari
When I'm viewing events on iPad there start off well but then playback appears to slow down and crashes safari, also the cycle and montage view does this too.

Hi, I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find the post. I have my zoneminder setup, but what do people do regards a 24 hour camera split screen. I would like to mount a monitor on the wall what displays all my cameras. I was thinking I could use a old PC with a monitor attached with a web...

Default Skin
Hi,
I've changed to using the flat skin however, everytime I visit my zm It defaults back to the orginal skin and I have to change it back to flat, is there a bug with my install?

Hi,
I've just manged to get eyezm working with 1.27 however the thumbnails that show up on the events are stating that "file not found"
Any ideas what I've got to do to fix this?
Kind Regards

Re: eyezm on iPhone broken after Zoneminder upgrade to 1.27
To my delight the eyezm app is back in the store and it let me download it! last time I tried it wouldn't work. I can now see my events. However I need to apply the skin fix, what file and what do I need to change?
Also is this logged as a bug to be fixed? I hope eyezm gets updated soon.

Re: eyezm on iPhone broken after Zoneminder upgrade to 1.27
I really wish I could use eyezm but its not available in the app store to download. It's a shame development has stopped on it
This would be a awesome feature to have and its becoming more of the norm today as most off the shelve systems support this.

Re: How to use libvlc
I've solved it, it was basically because I didn't have the libvlc installed.
All I had to do was open up a terminal and type
"apt-get install libvlc-dev libvlc5 libvlccore-dev libvlccore5 vlc-data vlc"
then reboot the machine and now it works.
I'm going to monitor to see how I get on.

How to use libvlc
I currently have my cameras running in ffmpeg however I get the smearing effect quite often, as you can gather I'm keen to try out the libvlc option. I've just upgraded my zoneminder to 1.27 and the libvlc option is now available however when I edit my cameras config from ffmpeg to libvlc the camera...

Re: How To Upgrade
Thanks, I'm not quite up to packaging and building stuff up myself, but the apt-get method is great and make it easy for people like me to upgrade.
Yes I'm using the iconnor repository, I hope it gets updated soon
