Aptitude reports installed version 1.25.0. Is this the source of my filter weirdness?

Time/date filter syntax
I'm obviously daft, because I can't find an outline on filter syntax, and the search function is giving me fits. I'm trying to create a couple filters that will send alert emails/messages, but exclude 'business hours'. So far, I've got: filter.jpg and filter2.jpg I get no alerts. Harrumph. Any ideas?

Perhaps a missing perl library? I encountered this bug attempting to use SFTP: Google: missing sftp zoneminder 1006890 or sudo apt-get install libnet-sftp-foreign-perl After I resolved the dependency issue, it worked flawlessly. I tried about ten different ways to post an obfuscated link to the bug ...
