Is this normal?

I have just started playing with zoneminder - it looks like it's crashing over and over, however, the level of the messages don't look so bad. Re: Audio from TrendNet TP-IP121WN

ZM has no audio capability. So can't be done for now. Are all cameras that can only do 640x480 max resolution just horribly grainy and out of focus or is it just this Trendnet that I have? I have a TrendNet IP121WN (Which is wireless capable, but I'm using the Ethernet port) and I have a TP-LINK TL...

Re: How does one remove or separate "Linked Monitors"?

To unlink monitors try: control, left click. It's normal for all monitors to be in the link box but without asterisks. Nope, no clicks available of any sort when in the "source" edit pane for the camera. I can highlight the camera name in the list, but can't do anything else with it. Is this inform...

I'll give it a other shot. I did figure out the issue with adding permission to
A monitor. Apparently uses cantbe admin equivalent or add themselves to a monitor.

How does one remove or separate "Linked Monitors"?

Somehow I have had two monitors that have become linked. I have no idea how it happened, and I can't delete them from the linked monitor list. I also just discovered that when adding a new user, there is a "restricted monitors" section or field. I can only select one when adding a new user and after...

Audio from TrendNet TP-IP121WN

Sorry, brand new to ZoneMinder and still tryig to figure out basic setup. I have this camera set up and have even captured video during a motion detection event. My first question is how to also capture the audio? Are there any basic how tos anywhere that discuss basic set up to allow internet facin...

Re: Trendnet TV-IP121W compatibe?

This may be a little dated, as the TrendNet TV-IP121WN is now discontinued, but I found one at a discount at the local Fry's. I just installed Zoneminder on a headless Ubuntu 12.04 server for the first time and within a few minutes had it working (at least for monitor) over a wired interface. It has...

DigiVue products compatibility

I'm brand new to Zoneminder - ran across it when googling for security camera systems. I only need 5 cameras and only one with audio, and I have some spare rackmount servers... So this sounds like a perfect match. So, I have been perusing the local Fry's and found a couple of boards that do video ca...
