There is available casings for cameras to use outdoors cost about 60€ here in Finland. And the casings are available with or without cooling or heating. Uncheck "ZM_STRICT_VIDEO_CONFIG" in options - config. that takes care of the xawtv "problem".

I think that can be done in the ./configure --options to if im not mistaken.

try to run "perl ./zmconfig.pl -noi" some more untill you get the data in to the tables.

Are you using FFmpeg version 0.4.9-pre1? trye to use FFmpeg version 0.4.8 in stead. I had similar problems with 0.4.9-pre1.

So Im @ it again :) and as usual i seem to get in to trubble... Now i have a new strange problem. It says: Warning: Division by zero in /var/www/html/zm/zm_html_view_console.php on line 62 On the top of the page after i have logged in. Any iadeas what is causing this problem. ZM is refusing to start...
