I have setup zoneminder 1.24X on an Ubuntu 10.04 LTS build and can see that the Dlink DCS 3220 cameras are capturing at 5.88 fps @ 352x240 which to me is rather slow. The specs of the camera are as follows: • Up to 30fps at 176x120/176x144 • Up to 30fps at 352x240/352x288 • Up to 10fps at 704x...

I have a client that wants to see his Zoneminder 1.24X remotely from his home to the office where it resides. The way I have this setup now is using SSH via tunneling, dynamically through his browser and it works ok. He connects from home to his office through the ssh tunnel and look though firefox....

Copying Recordings to DVD-RW for Security
I am using Zoneminer 1.24X and have it configured to recording via frames(jpg) at 30fps. I have been asked to copy a certain recording at a certain date and time to a DVD-RW for the owner. How can I accomplish this task?

I have a customer to where I have setup and configured Zoneminder 1.24X successfully. The system record frames up to a max of 15 frames per second and when he views his images via montage he says that it looks like there are robots and doesn't like it. My question is such:
If a break-in occurs and zoneminder has done its job, how would one copy the footage for the police. In other words, if the police wants a copy of the break-in, how would i give it to them? Zoneminder isn't exact the easiest to maneuver for a basic user.
