Re: Find Events that happen overnight

I have a filter like this. ( End Time - Less Than - 5:00:00 OR End Time - Greater Than - 23:00:00 ) AND End Date/Time - Greater Than - 24 hours ago AND Cause - Not Equal To - Continuous AND (Monitor Name - equal to - A OR Monitor Name - equal to - B ) etc - I have one line for each outdoor camera Th...

Re: ZM Light Weight Settings

I have two monitors set up for each camera. A low-res monitor (640x480, or whatever depending on your camera) for modect, and a high res linked monitor in 1080 or 4K set to nodect, so that when motion is detected on the low res image, it automatically records the high def version as well. Based on a...

Re: Socket /run/zm/zms-XXXXXXs.sock does not exist.

They key here is that you don't get it when accessing via http. There is a difference in your cgi path between the http and https config. So take a close look at your apache config in terms of ScriptAlias etc and your https config. I think that might be referring to my post (not OP)? For my case it...

Re: Socket /run/zm/zms-XXXXXXs.sock does not exist.

I get this when I don't access my server using https, if that helps at all. My console is filled with 400 Bad Request responses, but the apache logs show 200 like yours do. If I switch to https, it works fine.

Zone setup flashing

I've just upgraded from 1.36.13 to 1.36.24 on Ubuntu 20.04 using iconnor's PPA. Everything is working fine so far except when I try to access zone setup using a browser. The image background (where I draw the zone) is flashing between the current image and blank (turns out the whole page is reloadin...

Re: False alarms when the lights goes out (Cam IR light)

Isn't extend alarm frame count for preclusive zones only? This looks like OP is trying to set an overload threshold for an active zone so that too much change doesn't trigger an alarm.

Re: False alarms when the lights goes out (Cam IR light)

You might be able to turn on analysis images (with the red outlines over motion detected) and tweak your settings. I have situations where the "motion" detected is roughly person-sized, so without more intelligent object detection there's no way to distinguish between something vaguely per...

Trying to distinguish between lighting changes and people

I have a camera over the front door walkway with the goal of alerting when someone approaches the front door. It is working, but every morning and evening when the camera switches between day/night mode, I get an alarm. I had assumed that if I set a max alarmed area and an overload count to a couple...

Re: Replaying Events for Testing Zones / Using a video file as a Source

No, they're all blank. The frame rate is set to 4 in the camera though. Maybe it's too low for this to work? I can try temporarily bumping it up today and creating an event to see what happens.

Re: Replaying Events for Testing Zones / Using a video file as a Source

OK, I finally got this working as a monitor, and I copied the zone from the original monitor exactly, but it's not creating alarms. I suspect the reason is the frame rate on the video file monitor is much lower than the actual camera. On the original camera I get State: Idle - 4fps 3.63 fps 3.63 fps...

I removed this post. I had to open more ports in my router and apache config, sorry about that. Testing this later!

Re: Filter not working?

You can test by listing the matches in the filter window (the first blue button on the bottom). If it matches more than one event, it's going to execute your script for every event it finds. So the first time you run it, if you have 57 events in the database, your script is going to run 57 times sin...

Re: Testing zones against stored events?

Amazing, thank you again. I'll see if I can do it this weekend. I can probably just grab framecount from ZM; I only capture around 4fps and the events are usually only a couple of seconds, so that part isn't too hard.

Re: Testing zones against stored events?

You're right - "file" expects a single file that updates. I tried "web site", and I can get it to load the URL of the MP4 file, but the size is way too small despite setting the pixel dimensions, and the monitor name and source are red in the console, so it looks like it can't or...
